Tasks and duties of the department of Training and technical support

The process of advancing the university staff and raising their production capacities is extremely important as it actively contributes to the development of their performance skills to complete their duties and liabilities in the most perfect and organized manner that reflects positivity on the spirit of harmony and coordination among all educational staff (staff and professors), which shows the university’s pace with that of the modern developmental changes in the field of their specializations, so disposing workshops, continuous training programmes and learning from their own set of experiences and from that of others are among the fundamentals of success and accomplishing quality for our university. This department aspires to:

1- Establishing regular training sessions for staff and professors alike to raise their performance potentials and ensure their consistency quality wise.
2- Workshops on a regular basis for all representatives of the quality assurance people in the university faculties, which contributes to raising awareness of quality assurance.
3- Urging the teachers to improve their English language proficiencies by putting them in skill based language training courses in cooperation with the relevant departments.
4- Bringing professors and lecturers from prestigious universities with experience in the field of quality assurance and university performance.
5- Follow-up of graduate students from the university, which helps provide job opportunities for them in the public and private sectors in coordination with the provincial council, the companies operating in it, and civil society organizations.

Tasks and activities of the division:

1. Holding training courses in the areas of quality and accreditation.
2. Designing computer programs in various fields to enhance the building of advanced databases for all activities in colleges and institutes.
3. Completing and updating the database of all the teaching staff working in the colleges and institutes of the university (changes are received from colleges and institutes once every three months).
4. Completing and updating the database of all technicians working in the colleges and institutes associated with the university(changes are sent from colleges and institutes every three months)
5.Completing and updating the database of all administrators working in the colleges and institutes of the university (changes are sent from colleges and institutes every three months)
6. Providing the beneficiaries with all the necessary statistics related to (teachers, technicians, administrators).
7. Providing the Ministry with all the statistics related to (teachers, technicians, administrators) working in the colleges and institutes of the Commission.
8. Providing the relevant authorities with various datas related to (teachers, technicians, administrators).
9. Providing the relevant authorities with various statistics related to the number of students according to the specializations (technology, medical, administrative, agricultural, applied arts) and according to their need for such statistics.
10. A daily update of the data for (teachers, technicians, administrators) in accordance with the administrative orders issued by the President of the University.
