The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance holds a workshop on the specifications of a good laboratory

Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, in cooperation with Continuous Education Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women, held a workshop entitled “Specifications of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)”. The workshop which was presented by Engineer Huda Zuhair Ali, took place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Al-Kawthar Continuous Education Center hall.
The workshop was attended by supervisors, officials, laboratory staff as well as quality assurance liaison members from faculties.
The workshop aimed at:
- Upgrade the quality of educational laboratories.
- Increase confidence in test and measurement results.
- Strengthen the trust of the institution management in the quality of its educational performance and outcomes.
- Control non-conforming calibration or testing procedures through corrective and preventive measures.
- Achieve ongoing development and improvement
This workshop comes as part of the University's objectives to organize such workshops and courses with a view to educate the academic staff on the proper use of scientific equipment.
